Day 3. SACRED VALLEY: full day tour with a local guide visiting Pisac, a typical Indian market and the ruins above the town. After lunch on to Ollantaytambo exploring the terraces and ruins in the town and living the Andean athmosphere, Overnight at Ollantaytambo. B, L
Day 4/5. INCA TRAIL, WIŃAYHUAYNA/MACHUPICCHU: we`ll start from Ollantaytambo by train to Km 104 (2,350 metres), our starting point for the Inca trail. We`ll climb to the Wiñayhuayna (2,650 metres) Hostel. B,L,D,
Day 5. we continue on to Machupicchu (2,400 metres) where you will tour this famous site with your guide. In the afternoon we take the train back to Cusco.Hotel B,.
Day 5. CITY TOUR: morning to make discovery highlights in Cusco. In the afternoon there is a sightseeing tour of the city, visiting the nearby Inca ruins ; Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay.Hotel, B. Lunch with local family.
Day 7/9. JUNGLE TOUR: 7th and 8th days: morning flight to Puerto Maldonado, transfer to the port where we`ll board a boat that will take you up river into a primary rainforest. There you`ll have a chance to see many animal and bird species unique to the Amazon basin. You will stay in a comfortable lodge while on the tour. Day 10. TRAIN CUSCO/PUNO: Full day train trip to Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca on the high plains of the Andes. An incredibly scenic ride through the countryside and mountains. Upon arrival, an evening transfer to your hotel. B,L.
Day 11/12 LAKE TITICACA, UROS, AMANTANI & TAQUILE ISLANDS: 11th day: touring the lake visiting these three unique islands of the Aymara people, we`ll be introduced to their customs and traditions. B,L,D, Day 12th : Overnight on Amantani Island before returning to Puno. B,L.
Day 13. JULIACA/LIMA: after a midmorning flight, via Arequipa,
you`ll transfer to your hotel. Afternoon free.
Day 14. LIMA: Visit the Gold Museum, a great collection of pre-Columbian jewelry This is one of the best museums in Peru. Evening transfer to airport . End of the trip. B.
